Louis Osbourne

Louis Osbourne has been an internationally successful club DJ for 15 years. During this time he has released 2 albums and has toured the world many times performing on six continents. Along side Louis’ much celebrated club DJing career he has also been a regular on the Bar / Lounge DJing circuit.
From the humble beginnings of playing the cooler bars in his hometown of Birmingham, such as The Medicine Bar, So-Bar, Circo & 52° North, Louis moved on to play at some of the worlds premier destinations for this genre of music. He has held residencies at Ibiza’s world famous Café Mambo, El Divino Sunset Café and Pacha’s Roof Terrace.
During his time at Café Mambo Louis would play for 7 hours a day from the afternoon beach sessions right through the sunsets to the early evenings (usually before playing one of the big clubs on the Island at night!), mixing together an eclectic selection of sophisticated trip-hop, lush deep-house, evolutionary electronica and epic film scores. He helped compile Café Mambo’s first compilation for the commercial market and also hosted a BBC Radio 1 show from Café Mambo with Pete Gooding (long time Mambo resident) and Danny Rampling, where they selected and played their choice of Balearic classics.
Louis’ excellent taste in music was nurtured in his formative years when he managed Hard to Find Records, a rare record store, referring to this time as his “university course” in music. This enabled him to amass a superb record collection that has been the foundation to Louis’ success as a DJ. However a record collection alone does not make a good DJ….. Louis has a gift of being able to fit the right music to the occasion, similar to scoring a film, a skill that was no doubt learnt during his many hours behind the turntables at Café Mambo.
On his travels Louis has played Lounge / Bar sets at Moonshadows (Malibu), Jospehs (Hollywood) and La La Land (Byron Bay, Australia). More recently Louis has advised Chanel on music for their fashion shows, has advised the Lucky Strike on music selection for their brand CD compilations, and has provided music for the “Movie Meets Media” and “Sport Meets Media” events in Cologne, Germany.
Louis is accomplished at scoring the music to all kinds of events. He has the musical heritage, the record collection and the worldly experience that places him in a league above his peers. He will be a tastemaker for many years to come and will continue to provide the soundtrack to life.
